From their website:

"The Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX®) is a unique trade show that showcases numerous inventions, new products and innovations that are available to license, market or manufacture. "The Invention Show" brings inventors and entrepreneurs together with industry representatives in one convenient forum."

Pittsburg, June 6-7, 2007

Has anyone ever gone, and do they recommend attending, for either inventors with a product, or just people interested in seeing other inventions?

I can't tell from the site if it is open to the public, and what the admission fee is. I may give them a call soon.

SparkBugg,

I exhibited last year and it was a good experience. They have good classes that are before the show opens everyday and there are always a lot of inventors. You have a chance to pitch your idea in front of the ERA (electronic Retailers Association) (Think QVC) and Jay Leno has his "pitch to america" segment filmed there every year. I plan on going again this year and I would recommend it to anyone who has an invention they would like to show.

Who's going to the 2007 INPEX show? It's coming up in a few weeks as it runs from June 6th to the 9th. I plan on being there on the 6th and I'll stay till the 8th. I'm going to attend all of the classes that are offered (for a fee) before each day of exhibiting. My brother and I exhibited last year so if anyone has questions or just wants to know what to expect before they arrive feel free to ask and I'll try to clear things up.

For INPEX, we'd love to find a volunteer to make up a little sign for us or print out a sign and post it or distribute a flyer about our site to the inventors there.

Anyone willing to help out?

We'd love to have folks wear t-shirts to this with our site name but we are not yet organized enough. :)

Michelle,

if you create a flier I'll print it out and give it to the people I meet and let them know I'm a member but not an official spokesperson.

That sounds like a great deal Michelle. Average, thanks for all your help getting the word out about this site. Let us know if you find any Inventor friendly companies.
Come visit my sites at http://www.RogerBrown.net
or http://www.looking2license.com
I have gotten 9 products licensed spending less than $100 on each, you can too.

Roger Brown,

More then welcome :) I'm excited that this year I'll just be walking around during the day instead of manning a booth. I will have a much better chance to meet new inventors and grill new companies trying to market their services to inventors. I'm sure to meet a lot of great people with new ideas and lots of questions ; a perfect fit for this site.

Thanks Average. Awesome of you!!

Now I need to find someone to help make the flyer. :)

I'll get to work on it but if anyone has any type of flyer making skills, would appreciate the help.

Hi Spark Bug:
I have never been to the show but I have clients who said it was great for them.

I will also be speaking on June the 7th at 10 "Packaging Your Invention to Sell" Admittance is free for the conferences but you have to preregister or pay at the door.

I'll also be working in the resource bureau the balance of the day. So come by and ask me your packaging questions or bring your product packaging for my advice.

You can also pick up a copy of Do It Yourself Packaging ( http://doityourselfpackaging.com) at a special show price of $50
