Thanks for the info, DCinNC! One final question for you - if you're NOT in the running, when should you expect to be notified?

They are still calling inventors...

They havent been able to get ahold of everyone yet.

If you are not one of the 25...expect to be notified within the next few weeks.

Good Luck

Everyday Edison

Quick Question for DCinNC....They are notifying only the inventors in the DC area or is the event in DC the final for all the inventors who will be appearing on the show?

DCinNC,

Sorry to bug you with all the questions but we are very excited about Everyday Edisons! It looks like a much better format than American Inventor and I personally have reccommended it to at least 50 inventors I know as well as many other people on the fence about inventing. I'm really excited about watching the first season and I'm tivoing it for all my relatives and those who don't have HD programming so as many people as possible can get to see it. I was very impressed by the audition process and hope your staff understands how much this show will mean to the inventing community as a whole. Finally we will have a show that displays the excitement and creativity inventors have and the steps people need to take to get their idea to market. THANKS!

Everyday Edison

Well said...I agree completely. I am hoping to get back into artistic, industrial, and furniture/lighting design....I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be taken allot more seriously on PBS. It is a different kind of programming that garners considerably more respect. And the reality programs they have featured in the past were great.(1900 house and prairie house)

Hey DCinNC...did I win!

Mike

Thanks guys for all your support for Everyday Edisons...hopefully this show does its job in demonstrating / educating what it takes for an invention to go through all the steps to make it to market.
