What exactly does this test help us with? My result makes little sense to me... ;)

Yeah, what is that 50% about? Does that mean half the time you/we are wasting brain power? ;) Maybe we need to think more efficiently?

I've taken the test many times and found that I fit the INTJ type like a glove...

It fits me .. but i gotta say some of the supposed faults are true as well, and I would like to work on some on them to be a better person towards others, so they better understand me.

I can readily relate to what has been the described as the Achilles' Heel of the type. The following quote in particular rings true for me:

"Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJ's really want people to make sense. This sometimes results in a peculiar naivete', paralleling that of many Fs -- only instead of expecting inexhaustible affection and empathy from a romantic relationship, the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness."

In my case this is complicated by the fact that my spouse, her mother and our daughter, all have a form of ADD/EFD. Simply put, the path between points A & B is NEVER a straight line for any of them but rather, a sort of "random walk". I find it extremely frustrating at times waiting for any of them to GET TO THE POINT!

Righton! Sir

my wife as also has a bit a add and let me tell you it took a good year or two at the start of the relationship to for me to be comfortable with it, even though it still secretly urks me... just the way i was raised i guess. or maybe it's passed down through genetics.. I believe my mother is an INTJ as well.. not because i have asked just based off of observation.

So yah i know exactly what you mean.. I think to myself ...em I the only one that with expectations like this or that thinks this way??

no! but it sure seems that way
