Check out the video we placed on youtube, it was an angel investor presentation from the Midwest Clean Tech Conference in Chicago. We were one of 12 finalists in the Clean Tech Competition. (I created the video)

We have just secured independent evaluation of LitroEnergy and a financial commitment for production of our material based upon the results. This company has paid for the production of our light sheet samples (now complete) and is ready for testing! Long time to get to this point, wish us luck!

Here is an article link from the conference:

Six technologies that could change the Earth

Photovoltaics that work in the dark – Solar power has one major drawback. It turns off once the sun disappears. Most researchers are searching for ways to store it for future use, technologies often involving batteries. But Michael Kohnen II and Steve Stark of MPK CO. took a completely different approach. They developed tiny micro particles of gas and crystals that can power photovoltaic cells 24/7, sidestepping the storage problem entirely. The two main components, tritium gas and phosphor crystals, work together to produce light. The tritium emits electrons. The electrons make the phosphor send out photons (light particles). When sandwiched as a sheet between two photovoltaic cells, the photons hit the cells and produce electricity.

I hope you enjoy the video, article and update!
Sincerely,
Steve Stark

Thanks! I hope others get the chance to view the video...this could be our future power source for most things that we use. It is Hydrogen based...Tritium that turns into Helium after 20+ years. The world needs alternatives for power and this uses no outside resources and lasts.

Energy and persistence conquer all things.

WOW Steve, wow. That is a cool technology. The concept is so simple that it's kind of beautiful in its own way. I am amazed we haven't had it since the inception of the television.

I imagine your results are private, but it never hurts to ask...what kind of energy density (vs volume) are you finding?
