There are so many times when I'm using a product, that I think it would be better if only......

So here's one. Listen up Garmin. I sure wish you would add a feature that shows the posted speed limit. I drove to Amish country and I swear the freeway speed limit changed every 20 miles. It was the hardest thing to keep up with. I know I could have stopped and asked one of the many nice policemen by the side of the road!

Another one are for you paper towels companys. How about making the paper towels in a smaller size- like for dinner napkins. I really only use the paper towel as dinner napkins, and it would be great to have a normal size paper product on a roll to use, and heck you could even make it a little nicer quality. I would so buy that!!

I could go on all day- Anybody else have any suggestions?

I am not much into rodeo bull riding but it seems like its real dangerous until the bulls testicles are untied by the clowns. Many people get needlessly hurt after the actual riding is over because the tie stays on long after. Why do they not have the tie also tied to the person so it will automatically come off when they fall or even use a remote controlled tie? I guess they feel the entertainment of the clowns outweigh the risk of death.

They tried smaller paper towels years ago. They were perforated more often so you could tear off half-sheets at a time. Apparently, consumers never warmed to the idea. Probably never figured out that you could still tear off two continuous half-sheets to use as a full sheet.

They still sell the half sheet- they call it select a size- and those are the ones I buy. But the napkin size would not be so tall- just normal napkin size that would look nice on your dinner table. Maybe one of these days.

The other function about the GPS speed that would be nice, if you can select the fuction for the GSP to beep or make some noise if you are going
say 9 miles over the posted limit. Remember 9 your'e fine, 10 your'e mine. I got a hugh speeding ticket requiring a court date. I didn't even realize I was speeding- didn't know the posted speed, and didn't realize I was going 55. I was just riding along day dreaming about my invention.

Darn it, that's not a bad idea.

See, this is a great example of a proactive public disclosure. Even though it's only at a conceptual stage right now, all you would need to do is continue to develop it to the point of a working prototype or a patent application, either publicly or privately. If you can manage to do that, and be reasonably diligent about it, then you will have a lock on that idea, no later than I post this message.

It's oh...about 8:15 pm PST on Thursday, June 21st 2007

Bingo!

* smaller towel sheets still exists
* GPS with speed limits built in already exists:

One thing I'd like to see more is audio jacks standard in every car.. Scion seems to be doing this across the board.. I'd also like to see the "ipod" connector be made universal instead of proprietary to apple. I'd love to be able to pop a portable mp3 player in my car and control it from the steering wheel, but I refuse to buy an apple product.

How about a TV that auto adjusts for super loud commercials?

it's been patented:

And magnavox already made this 5 years ago.. hasn't really become standard.. besides, I never see commercials with my DVR.
