We all get ideas from time to time that we know we'll never acquire protection for, or never manufacture ourselves. That may be because they would be considered obvious, or because we would not have the resources to manufacture them on our own...
That doesn't mean we won't ever benefit from them. Sooner or later, commercialism capitalizes on the better ideas. One way to see them available sooner is to publicize them, so that they get into the right hands. If you have anything that fits that description, then let's hear about it.
My donation would be Ankle Dress Socks of all kinds of fabric and style. They would be much easier to install, and they'd be less likely to tear.
How about some others?

Along clothing, tag free everything!
Or have the tag info sewn directly in the fabric material that is made of the same fabric.

Standardize expiration dates for all products that have them. Make it so they have to be clearly visible, and immediately next to the Title of any product.

Hi Scrupulous,
I should have used the word dissappearing ink rather than invisible ink.
I used to be in the engineering/architecture/landscape architectural field and we wasted a lot of paper just "checking" to make sure the drawings printed as we expected them to with differing lineweights and thicknessess. With the "disappearing ink" you could proof your drawings before making the final print.

That could be the difference between drafts and actual revisions...
maybe have a UV light in the printer to selectively breakdown the inks, on demand...

...doesn't even have to be of the same fabric. Even silkscreening would do, which they already do on undergarments.
Yeah, by the age of 65, I think the average American scratches the back of his neck 47,000,225 times...or for brack's purposes, every second 300 Americans scratch the back of their necks.

Scrupulous, 300 neck scratchers per second...you made me giggle.
Yeah, the UV light thing...it made me think about the old "blue-line" printers using UV to chemically develop the bluelines. This "disappearing" ink could be the reverse? ....thinking more....
