Making use of the studs that normally hold a bridge and tailpiece in place, the main platform is mounted with the actual tremolo assembly through the use of pinions at the forward edge.
Springs are attached frward and below reaching rearward to a spring bracket held in place by two screws attached to the rear of the trem plate.
Manufacturing the baseplate is a matter of punching and drilling 2mm thick steel plate.
The spring bracket is both punched and press-broken.
The rear of the bridge is drilled and welded to the trem plate.
The design makes use of generic height-adjustable bridge saddles, trem springs and tremolo bar, making the economic design and manufacture of this product a viable option.[ihttp://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss321/rdclmn7/LesPaulTrem.jpgmg][/img]
