I need to invent this before my friend, we need to connect as many computer fans (cpu/power supply fans/anything that looks like a comp fan) to a power supply, we have a month to see how many we can connect. i don't want to use my comp to do it, but i've got a few old comps and power supply sitting around. All up spare fans (taking from spare power supplies) I've got 10. I want to do this so i flick a switch and they all turn on. I also plan on putting the fans on the side of the computer to cool it.
If any1 can figure out a way how to make this, with as little space as possible taken, will be epic :).
I have notice that the cpu/side fans connect by 3 pin, but the powersupply fans connect with a long cable.

Wow. That's quite a mystery of a project...and welcome to I-Spot.

By the way, could you maybe change the thread title to something a bit more descriptive?

...something like "Need help spending as much free time as possible with power supplies and cooling fans"

or maybe "Series, Parallel, or Both?"

or how about just "Mwuhahahaa!"
