Christian,

It's great your moving forward with your dual forceps. Did you contact any of the large dental supply companies like patterson dental to see if they will carry your product? A good way to get it in front of them is to go to dental trade shows and show it to the companies when they are all in one place.

I will have more final product in a month, then I can start my marketing. My idea is to first sell it as a high end product myself. Hu Friedy, the largest dental instrument maker, is evaluating it right now for private labeling. To make any money on this I can not license it as it is not a very high demand item. I am sending some to dental schools where I have contacts to have them train new dentists in this new method. I also am sending them to the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, they already teach my method with 2 forceps - this would be right up their ally. I am lucky enough to have many contacts in the dental business such as lecturers that can promote the product. The goal is to sell it myself under Hahn Unlimited, LLC and private label it to high end manufacturers such as Miltex and Hu Friedy.

I will follow all of this at my blog, http://inventaholics.com so you all can learn from my mistakes ;)

Thanks for the suggestion,

Christian

Hey Make, did you tell Christian about the fees we charge at the Tank? Just kidding. Welcome to ISpot. I was just thinking today how a good way to come up with a new product is to think of something related to the work you do. That thing looks scary. :D

I hear that all the time...
