Josh, do the Inventors set the investment price they are seeking? If they do you may want to advize them to make reasonable requests.
The Percepts Crossword Puzzle game is asking for One million dollars investment for the following reasons

Business is a startup. The seed capital of $1 million is required to set up vital processes of the business – Production, Office Admin, Advertisements, R&D, Marketing, Sales & ICT facilities and personnel. In addition, the capital will also suffice for setting up facilities, logistics and administrative costs to pilot Precepts competitions. The Precepts global competiton will be test run in Nigeria.

Plus Nigeria is a strange place to do a test run. Nigeria is best known for the email scamming deal where they tell you there are millions held up in a bank that you will get 10% of if you help them transfer the money out of the country.

No one in their right mind would invest that type of cash in a board game. There are others on the site that make the same type of ludicrius requests. If you expect investors to take your site seriously they need to have reasonable investor requests.

Josh, One item you may want to add to your Recommended Investor Steps is before the Investor sinks any money into the process they need to evaluate the Inventors ability to run a business. What exactly are the Inventors plans for the money invested? How did the Inventor come to the amount needed? Just because they are creative and able to develop a unique product does not mean they have a mind for business.
I am contacted by to many Inventors that have sunk thousands into a product that has no market value. Or the product does have market value but they don't have a clue what to do next. They are stuck at a point where they need to move forward or they will never see a return on their investment.
