Can't believe everyone gave up, OK I'll Start, one of my inventions I took to both shows called Stretch and Press portable Gym has taken off. It's sold in about 6 stores now and also on line at www.stretchandpress.com
The SAP is designed to take the place of a full gym just by using a doorway and your body weight. Also the SAP is weight plate adaptable meaning adding a weight plate increases the total exercises to over 15 including squats, shoulder presses, body pressing, biceps and triceps curls, back upper and lower and many more. Also stretches that decompresses your back and increase your flexibility by 40%.

I can help with direction or with question on introducing your product to stores. Or if there's anything I can help with just ask and I'll do my best to help you with not giving up.

DON'T GIVE UP

Congrats Chic!

I'm sure your knowledge would be very valuable around here.

I'm interested in hearing any words of wisdom.

what ever your working on do surveys along the way. This way you'll know if your product would be accepted or not by consumers. Also they would make suggestion on what to do to improve your product. My product started out as a back decompresser but after 7 surveys of about 100 people per. It developed into a total body gym after I saw people using it the wrong way, it just kept evolving. My last survey taken June of this year I left it at a local gym and when I came back they had weights connected to it. So get some surveys done for free, listen to suggestions and adjust. Also this way you'll know if your product will not be accepted before dumping a lot of money into it.

Excellent advice, CH! Welcome to ISpot. This is, all too sadly, advice that will be ignored by a good many novice inventors who don't really want to know how the market will respond to their product idea for fear of rejection. It is easier emotionally to stay in the "development" stage, even if it means spending more money than needed on Invention assistance companies, patenting, prototyping. I just don't get it. More people should first look for the market before they spend their money. Oh well, what can you do? You have a business mind in addition to a good product. Way to go, and good luck with all you do, my friend.

Thank you I used my own money so I wanted to be sure it would be a need for the product before jumping into it. The surveys are good to get a price on the product thats acceptable and that someone would pay for it.

I also wanted you to know that your idea or product, famous people with money are interested in making more money. I can show you how to get there attention. But I warn you when they respond you only have one crack at it, so don't blow.

Chic

I'd love any info you could give to us.

I currently have an idea, but am having trouble finding a manufacturer. I'd also love to find investors also.

I've been looking at alot of different material to make it out of.

Right now, plastic seems to be the way to go.
