let's remember that the world we live in today has evolved because of people like us. everything from boats to airplanes came from like minded people like us.
can you imagine if our fore inventors had given up on there idea's and thought later what if? My open question to you is whats keeping you from pursuing your dream of having your idea or product on shelves in stores for consumers to consume it? once we get our fears out in the open we can lean on each other for moral support and that will lead greater success to us all.

I'm getting a lot of pm's about money for financing your projects. keep in mind that banks and financial institutes are in business to make money from you. our goal is to make money for ourself, there for you have the money already. (Short story) when I got excited about my invention I went to the bank my credit score is 820 and they damn near wanted my first born claiming it was a high risk loan. I went home talk to my wife about using our on money. she believed in the project from the surveys so we did. I sold my Harley we decided to eat out once every other month cut out entertainment for a year (cable TV, movies, used one car when we could) we used the sell of the Harley finance most at the beginning. We used a credit card for manufacturing and the money from our cutting back to pay the credit card fee's. One year later I have a new Harley there's no Balance on our Credit Cards and oh yeah we got cable again. Bottom line if you really believe in yourself and your invention and your better half is on your side you got the money. Just making the sacrifice is the hard part. But look at it like this if you fail you own no one and you will not hesitate to jump in again when you figured out what went wrong the first time. Hope this helps everyone and good luck. Keep pming me if you want I'm here to help

Can't believe everyone gave up, OK I'll Start, one of my inventions I took to both shows called Stretch and Press portable Gym has taken off. It's sold in about 6 stores now and also on line at www.stretchandpress.com
The SAP is designed to take the place of a full gym just by using a doorway and your body weight. Also the SAP is weight plate adaptable meaning adding a weight plate increases the total exercises to over 15 including squats, shoulder presses, body pressing, biceps and triceps curls, back upper and lower and many more. Also stretches that decompresses your back and increase your flexibility by 40%.

I can help with direction or with question on introducing your product to stores. Or if there's anything I can help with just ask and I'll do my best to help you with not giving up.

DON'T GIVE UP

Hi Chic1. I am responding to your message above from last month. Not all of us involved with the shows have given up. I made it to the finals on season #1 of American Inventor and tried out for Oprah's Big Idea. I just received my first order of Take-A-Seat systems, product that I have been developing for several years. I am in local stores and have had promising inquiries from large retailers. Many people don't give up, they just get stuck. I always encourage people to keep fighting. Many creative people just simply don't know where to turn for that "next step".
By the way, good luck with your stretch and press. I like it.

Good deal I went to both, American inventor I made it to the 2nd round Oprah's deal I'm not a female so i need not to say more. congrats on your deal I like it. I'm a outdoors man so I can see where it fits in. I'm sure we're not the only 2 that kept grinding on our dream? We need more post on the after mass from the shows.

Hi Chic. My project was self-funded to start and we obtained an SBA loan this past summer. We have not used investor money. It is just my wife and I.
