Pretty interesting stuff. I haven't read much of it yet. I thought I read that one of the advantages to the melting of the North Pole, was that it will be easier to drill for oil, and that shipping from China will be quicker without having to go through the Panama Canal.

Also, every piece of paper, furniture, manufactured item in the world is expected to have GPS tracking.

Nobody must think much about their Intelligence Communities.

I'll switch a topic to Free Will.

Somebody set me straight.

I think free will is like just having ordered some fast food in your car, moving forward one car length, then realizing that you don't really want the food. There are three cars in front of you, and two cars in back of you.

You want to exercise your free will, and get out of the situation. You can ram the car in front or back of you. Leave your car and proceed on foot. Pull a Harry Potter and fly away.

None of those are likely options.

So are we stuck to bear the burdens / rewards of our decisions once we commit to a certain extent?

Where is free will?

I meant to get back to this. But, 120 pages man!

To answer your question, though, about free will...any good demolition derbist knows that you would stick it in reverse. Why? Less cars, and you protect your radiator.

Those dumb ____ holes don't have a clue about living life in the real world & they can't plan world peace either :x

There are other options,

One can change there mind when they get up to the drive up window, they can say, no thank you I've changed my mind & sense they haven't paid for it yet they aren't obligated to anything & then simply drive away.

Another option is to pay for it & then either sell it to someone else at maybe a loss or give it to someone that wants or needs it.

I do like Scrupulous Idea

For the most part you are correct in once we make a decision, we are stuck with that decision & the course of action that follows from that decision.

City planners are a major pet peeve of mine
