Anyone know how small a webcam can be made ?

My invention needs a very small webcam - how small can it be made ?
Actually it can be a camera, and not a camcorder.

There are multipule camera technologies that have a small footprint.
As Small as 1/18" or here is one that's affordable and maybe not small enough for your needs but check it out.

I bought a mini spycam to mount on my R/C helicopter from these guys. Pretty awesome quality for a great price.

It was really cool. I could only fly in the backyard...or the frontyard because I couldn't get too far away from the receiver. I could go as far as a cordless house phone. The fun part is hooking it up so you can record to VHS tape. :D
