Since you went to the trouble of figuring it out, I'd appreciate your posting instructions on how to create a poll.

Sad to say but I could not do it properly.

When you are starting a new topic, you can scroll down and add a poll question. Below that, you can add up to about ten poll options (choices to vote on). You can also set the number of days it will accept votes.

You have to enter something as the message, as well.
