Maybe this forum is spreading out members too thin over so many topic.
I think if we reduce the number of topic, maybe ther will be more synergy and create more posts, hence more interesting to surf. Just a thought.

Would people like that. I do agree that the posts are all over the place, but there are a ton of topics people seem to want to discuss.

Perhaps you can suggest and put up a thread for the main discussion thread?

I don't think I want to shut down any threads, but we could close some of them off as finished?

I think he's talking about the number of forums, as they are called in the Forum Index. And, yes Michelle, people would like that. I'm sure it wouldn't be a big deal to move topics into other 'forums' to reduce the amount of scrolling, if absolutely nothing else.

To be open with you, the more you appear to defend the AI television show, the more it looks like y'all have some kind of business obligation to it. The entire section of forums for the show is more or less dead. We're not stupid.

Just a thought. Don't take it personally.

I am confused. How do we defend the American Inventor show?

The forums were started when we started the site. For those who don't know, this whole website was first built for the American Inventor show and the inventors participating in it.

After the first show, we realized it had a lot of problems and we started going beyond it.

This site was called American Inventor Spot until about 3 months ago.

It is a big deal to collapse the forums as far as I know as we would have to delete them or manually copy everything into sub sections.

We'll put this on our to do list of things to work on.

Hey who won last night? I forgot to watch, I got caught up watching the bridge collapse. I agree navigation around the forum is a bit clumsey, but I'll learn to live with it if it is going to make Michelle mad to change it.
