Today I received a written offer for one of my products from one of the vendors that I talk to in Dallas. The offer was for all rights for the product and patent. So keep your heads up

Hey that is great. Sounds like the casting calls have gotten a LOT Better. Atlanta did not have anyone to meet with or mention anything like that. The E.E. train is rolling and getting bigger and I think must be better. I hope the cast and crew don't forget about those of us in the Atlanta auditions!

I'm thrilled for you Chic, even though you decided not to accept it.
At least it means that the retailers are really there looking for inventions. I too am intrested in the deal they offered you- just for reference.

Not sure yet if I can post my wife thinks it's a back door deal. She thinks the vendors where paid to be there by their company to bring something back that they also can profit from.
After the CC are over I'll post the actual letter and maybe cross out the vendors name.

Hey, I missed this message, so that is exciting to hear. I did not think anyone would make offers until the show announces their inventors group for the show.
Is that a conflict of interests for the vendors to do that? Or is that a sign the show passed on the idea?
So can you explain what your wife means by a back door deal? Does that mean the EE group wants to test the waters to see if they could have it outside the show for a different amount?
Was the offer tempting at all or do you think it a lot lower than a royalty would get?
And I think I read that you have it going with another group. Is that okay to show it to the EE panel and do your own deal before they notify you for the show's invention list?
