Decided to start a thread for people who are going to the May 17th auditions in Providence, Rhode Island.

I'm going to be there...anyone else?

I'm going to be staying Friday night and maybe Saturday and taking my daughter most likely. Anyone have any "must do's" in Providence for a person that's never been before?

Also, anyone have any idea of a good hotel to stay?

Jason

Have they finalized this as the date and location because last I heard a few weeks ago it was subject to change?

I wish you the best of luck when you do go.

I know that when they had originally announced May 17th, it was in Boston, and then they announced that it would change. It is now, according to their site in Providence, RI. They have not specified the location, as in the place in Providence it will be held. I'm thinking it will be the Rhode Island Convention Center.

So...where's everyone gonna stay?

Would be cool to meet up with fellow I-Spotters.

Jason

MWB,

Thanks! I think the second time this year will be the charm :)

FYI there was an older gentleman that I met waiting to go in front of the camera's and judges who already had 3 ideas accepted for final consideration and he was on his 4th idea to present in front of the judges. He said he had been to 3 or 4 casting calls so far this year. He was a really nice retired man.

I also have something other than the one already being accepted. But I am afraid that I won't be able to make the trip this time. I yet to have prototype either. 3-D drawing can be done in few days though.
