Not only am I cool with the idea, I can't see why they didn't do it 20 or 30 years ago! It's part of human nature to push the boundaries and explore places no one has ever gone before. It they do find water it could very well eclipse the landings that were made during the Apollo program in significance!

It would good if Nasa could do it very carefully and with just enough Bang!, for the job, they could do a pro job by using a bunker buster type weapon, really all they need if proof of H2O thats all.
