I would have loved something like this 10 years ago. I spent a month traveling for work to 5 different cities. It seemed that as soon as I unpacked in one location it was time to pack up and move on.

My only problem with this exact design is that I tend to pack everything I can fit into one bag if at all possible. With everything crammed into your "portable dresser" it wouldn't be much more functional than a normal luggage bag. If you made it expandable though so that the shelves pop out a bit, and the height extends a few inches per shelf then it would be possible to pack, travel and not have to worry about unpacking. Great idea...that's how I'd tweak it.

Thanks! The issues you brought up have been botering me as well. I saw it as being crammed up also :\ like you said, if it could be expanded while taking up minimal space it would be a definite buy. I was thinking of making some type of collapsable shelf, but the way I would do this is still having me wonder.
