We could be violating one of the rules by talking about it, but since Jason spilled the beans already I'd like to add: mission? mission? we haven't even decided on a name. We're one of those don't bother with the details types of think tanks. That's why I think we really need someone who's been there who knows about the nuts and bolts of business, we can trust and who knows how to deal with eccentric types.

Don't be so sure. I try to stick to things I know about in some way or another. You still have an opinion or comment or even a good question that could come in handy at some point in the discussion. Stick around for a while and get to know people. If your invention takes off though, you can be sure we'd fast-track you too. Do-it-yourself handyman, home improvement or even a new kind of tool or equipment modification idea could go far.
Maybe we could do something in the tank where we would take idea submissions? I know that sounds corny and one of the things that can make a group seem like it is taking advantage of the little guy, but maybe just having a good idea could get you in the tank. I hate sounding so exclusive but everybody's got to keep their ass covered.

How would somebody know if they wanted to join if the group can't even tell you what their mission is?
How would you know if you wanted to join the group if you dont' know what the group is all about???

I've always found that people with experience in various fields can provide a great deal of insight for others. Combine that with trustworthiness, cooperation, and a desire to create, and you may be a solid part of a team environment...

Welcome to I-spot, Envizion. I hope you can share your talents for a mutual gain.
But let's not get ahead of ourselves...
The private forum here is something that has simply never been done before. It would be no surprise that the group itself is an invention in the making. Naturally, inventing is the driving force within the private forum. And, under current US laws, it is a valuable opportunity.
If you feel that you can contribute for the benefit of a group environment, then by all means, don't hesitate to demonstrate that out here.
