No it does not. Every idea is not marketable. 97% of all patents granted will not make it to market. All a patent means is you have an idea that no one else has taken the time to patent.
Make sure you have a market for your idea that is large enough to cover your expenses and yeild you a return on your investment before going forward with a patent. You don't want to spend thousands of dollars for a piece of paper you can only hang on your wall. Remember you are shooting to be in the 3% catergory.
