OK Guys and gals....

You will NOT hear this from lawyers... UNLESS you know the REALLY SMART ones....

Reason.... Provisional Patent Applications offer ZERO path of income for Lawyers... EXCEPT for the SMART ones who know you will come back when the time comes to file your non-provisional...

EVERYONE should file a Provisional Patent Application as a "defensive" means to address future "Office Actions" and to lay claim to your inventive idea RIGHT NOW! You can file a Provisional Patent Application TONIGHT if you are well prepared and have 1 year to "perfect" your invention and invite partners and investors to pay for further IP Protection.

For a measly $125.00 you can have your Provisional Patent Application filed and have "Patent Pending" on your inventive idea...

You do NOT need an attorney to do this... However, if you have a load of money then by all means hire one.. But BEFORE you do be absolutely CERTAIN you FULLY understand what they need.. They NEED everything described in the Provisional Patent Video Course but they will make your jobe EASY because you only have to provide them with the info they need.. You see.. they know NOTHING of your idea until YOU tell them.. And worry not.. they are COMPLETELY bound NOT to disclose or steal your idea.. Neither is the USPTO!

The Provisional Patent Application was designed by Congress to give individual inventors a chance at bringing their inventive ideas to market easily. It is SUPER EASY to do..

To see the top 10 reasons to file a Provisional Patent Application please watch the second video in this blog.

If a provisional patent application looks like the right thing for you to do then take a look at another website that shows EXACTLY how to file one using a video format.

If you need to know how to get your product sold on TV or to Costco, or Home Depot, or Target and the like then you might also enjoy reading this information by the Ginsu Knife guy! It is pretty cool. He gives you all his contacts and personal email! VERY nice if you have something that can be sold on TV!!!

Of course you could ALSO just go to the US Patent Office and figure out how to file a patent yourself. Here is the link..
http://www.uspto.gov/patents/process/index.jsp
The flow chart there is pretty nice to give you an idea how to do what you want to do!

The USPTO patent search is hard to use and you need special programs to look at the patents… Instead, consider using Google Patent Search!

Here is how you can use Google Patent Search to search for an "Oscillating inertial microbalance"
http://www.google.com/patents?id=M5GRAA ... &q&f=false

Just type the term you want to search for in the search box. Play with MANY variants of your inventive idea.

Also, for a more global patent search look here:
http://worldwide.espacenet.com/advancedSearch?locale=en_EP

Remember... Patents are MOSTLY "Improvements" on other inventions.. So, while you may see something SIMILAR to your inventive idea it does not mean that you cannot patent your IMPROVEMENT.. Example... A tire is an IMPROVEMENT on a wagon wheel. A radial biased ply tire is an IMPROVEMENT on a non radial biased tire. There are over 10,000 patents on tires... Nearly every single one is an improvement!

And… a special gift for you is a sample Non Disclosure (also called an NDA) that you would have folks sign when you show them your inventive idea. You can change it up and use others but if you have NOTHING now it is a very good start written by my lawyer who charged me a TON for it!

I find it interesting you tell everyone they can file a PPA for free and then at the very end you offer your services to file it for them and sell them your video course for $45.

You also need to point out that they need to research up front and see if they even need a PPA. No need to file a PPA if it is already patented or already on the market. To many Invebtors rush to file and don't do any research first. It is wasted money for them, but good profit for you.

I have gotten 9 products licensed spending less than $100 on each, you can too.
