I have been reading this board in my extra time for several months now and found much good and (real) information on inventing and patents.. At time
s.. It's enough to still leave you somewhat confused even after education at points... never the less.. I have an idea like most of us here.. and want to pursue it.. I am trying to be cost-effective in the pursuit of inventing a new product and recently ran across this website:

http://www.frompatenttoprofit.com/

by: Bob Dematteis

Not trying to advertise or anything of that nature!.. It really looks legit and could be helpful.. I would like to write a provisional patent at this point as a starting point for my idea.. I have done dozens of hours of research on the patent searchs, I can't find anything close... I sadly (after christmas time) just don't have a few extra thousands of dollars to hire an attorney to fix me up on a patent.. So I am thinking of writing it myself.. I looked into their Fast Trac Pro Kit for $300 and think this might be something to order ???

http://www.frompatenttoprofit.com/fasttracpro.htm

Does anyone have experience with these guys/company ?? it claims one can write unlimited provisionals for life and recieve a lot of other course study material... $300 is not a huge deal but just don't want to order it if it is a waste of time.. In one of my searchs for this info.. Stephen Key from InventRight recommended it..

Hello at the lake,
I just joined this site 10 minutes ago and stumbled onto your thread. My wife bought me the Patent Wizard software for Christmas and it is wonderful! It cost less than 30 minutes of paid attorney time and it teaches you the entire process of filing with the USPTO. I can write unlimited provisionals with the patent wizard and only pay the $110.00 to the USPTO when I file.I think it is worth it just for the education of knowing (learning) the patent process. Knowledge is Power!

I ordered :

Patent Wizard by Michael Nuestel

http://www.frompatenttoprofit.com/Patent_Wizard.htm

for $149 It looks promising!

I also downloaded Bob Dematteis's book "From Patent to Profit" last night on iPad Kindle - Book so far has been one of the best reads I have on the subject!
