I just wanted to start this topic, so that those that are going to Chicago, can chat. It was great fun knowing who was going to Dallas, then seeing and talking to them in line. I encourage you to do the same!! Good luck in Chicago. It will be interesting to see if the format changes, and gets even better??

I'm going anyone else? I'm taking the megabus up from Cleveland on the 18th and getting a hotel within a mile of the convention center.
Update: I got a room at the Hyatt Regency Mccormick Place so I think that's attached to the convention center. Maybe some of us can meet up for dinner on Saturday night?

I am thinking should I go there or not. I live at San Jose and just missed a LOCAL casting call. Too bad I found this site too late. I have a handmade prototype.

Just finished lunch with Make. It turns out we have very similar background. we two form the IC industry (India and Chinese work industrially). He also encourage me to go. I want to show him my idea. He said he should sign NDA with me. So we drafted a NDA on a napkin and we talk about my invention with a very low voice in restaurant 
Now he should be searching for me now. We will see.
I also got to see his Everyday Edison idea, and I was shocked.
I think you all will know what that is pretty soon.

My co-worker and I will meet at his house to make my prototype this weekend.
Thanks to Makeworldbetter, we will make few important parts in wood at Saturday, allow them to dry over night and finish integration Sunday. If everything go as planed , I will go book my ticket to Chicago, otherwise next stop. Hope this airline crisis will be over by then.
