Oh ok right. That's what I was thinking. Make the yellow and white lines light up. The railings, overpasses, jersey barriers etc. Even the signs. It would be cool because if there was no traffic there'd be no need for lights. I wonder if the kinetic/weight and wind energy of each individual vehicle could make all the power it needed to illuminate its general vicinity as it traveled.
Think about trains. There's got to be a way to utilize all that weight through vibrations or just the pressure under each wheel as it moves down the track to generate power.
Those wind band generators would be easy to conceal along roadsides. The great thing about them is it isn't difficult or expensive to fix them.
