There are many way to define an inventor.
Arthur Clark (author of 2001) is often referred to as the inventor of the communications satellite.
I believe he only talked and wrote about it.
To me an inventor thinks a works through the idea. Plans, notes, computer code, or some type of work to
record the idea is required.
The inventor must have that 1st model. Bread board prototypes are the stuff of inventors. As a kid I saw a movie
about the invention of the transistor. The 1st lab model was big, ugly, and worked well enough to keep the
scientists on the project.
Best of all the successful inventor makes money, and other people benefit from his new idea.
