Anyone attending ResponseExpo 2010 in San Diego?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else, besides myself, is going to the ResponseExpo 2010 in San Diego this week? It looks like fun. There is going to be an Inventor's Pavilion and a few classes geared towards inventors that should be interesting. Hope to meet some of you there!

If it were 2 weeks later I'd be there...definitely keep me (I mean us) posted on San Diego events though.

The Northern Plains Inventors Congress (NPIC) will be held in Bismarck, North Dakota on January 13, 2009, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Admission is Free) in cooperation with Marketplace

2009 Imagine Cup
This year's theme is "Imagine a world where technology helps solve the toughest problems facing us today." The competitor’s charge is to address The United Nations hardest challenges in the world today, identified in its Millennium Goals. The competition categories include software design, embedded development, game development, robotics and algorithm, IT challenge, and MashUp. Each category has its own rules of entry.

2009 R&D 100 Awards
Entries are invited for the prestigious R&D 100 Awards that have been helping companies provide the important initial push a new product needs to compete successfully in the marketplace. The winning of an R&D 100 Award provides a mark of excellence known to industry, government, and academia as proof that the product is one of the most innovative ideas of the year. Any new technical product that was first available for purchase or licensing between Jan. 1, 2008, and Dec. 31, 2008, may be entered. An “early bird” deadline has been set for February 15, making it possible to submit your product a second time with input from the R&D Awards Committee. All winners will be notified of the judges' decision by July, 2009.

BKFK Invent A Game Contest
The BKFK “Going Green Challenge” invites entries from children between the ages of 5 and 19 to enter new online games. You don't need technical or illustrative skills to enter, all entries are expected to be entirely conceptual. The winning game will be produced by Electronic Arts and will be rewarded with $10,000 Face Value U.S. Savings Bond.

Samsonite Baby Travel Design Competition 2009
Samsonite Baby Travel contest encourages the design of innovative travel products related to traveling with babies and toddlers.
