I've been contacted by a rep from Inventsai. I'm trying to gather information on their services. Any help or insite would be appreciated.

Randy

Work2XL,

I read an unfavorable series of comments on them here:

http://inved.org/pipermail/inventors-l_inved.org/2006-March/008995.html

They are in Akron I think which is about a 40 minute drive from me. I might have time to set up a meeting and meet with them if you want me to and report back. PM me if you are interested.

This is where the bad guys really show their hand. They say things like, "She got what she paid ($10,000) for- a marketing analysis and a patent application.". You don't hear that in their sales pitch. They just immediately tell you your product "seems to be a winner" and anything else to keep you hooked.

They should have simply told her the idea was not patentable or if they didn't know that, they should have. In that case I can say I've invented the first solar powered submarine although I have no idea how to do it. These people take advantage of others who are naively at a disadvantage. They should have told her you can't combine two separate patented products as one and claim patent rights. They knew she had "sucker" written across her forehead. :x

Well i talked to them for about a day on info and assistance of a patent...then things just didnt add up, too many calls, people saying they were a scam, things of the like. And today one of their employees called me and kept trying to get me to buy in to the scam, i told him, AGAIN, that i WAS. NOT. INTERESTED. and hung up, i said that in a nicer way by the way. He then proceeded to call me off of a restricted number and tell me that he thinks im a "fucking butthead." If you ever have to deal with them, punch one in the nose and maybe they will get the hint. Never EVER do business with InventSAI.

Normally the companies with the high pressure sales pitch are only after your money. I tell Inventors the first question you need to ask them is "How many Inventors have made more money in royalties then paid you for servives?" You will find that most try not to answer the question which is a red flag or if they answer it will 1% or less.
Read this post viewtopic.php?f=29&t=694 it is a great example of what your odds are with them.
