FreePatentsOnline adds Non-patent Literature to Search‏

Postby Gizmo » Sun Apr 24, 2011 5:42 am

Dear FreePatentsOnline User,

Non-Patent Literature has been added to FreePatentsOnline.com!

You can now do a full literature search all in one place, rather than having to duplicate your efforts in multiple databases.

We have added about 1,000 journals, most with full text. These journals cover a wide range of subject matter, and we will continue to enhance certain areas of particular interest in the near future -- we will let you know when that occurs.

Try it out at http://www.freepatentsonline.com/search.html -- just be sure to check the "Non-patent Literature" box when you search!

Thanks for posting that information. I have a question for you. I'm currently in the prototype stage with a new idea and I believe I've been able to achieve proof of concept. At some point I may want to do a patent search but that's definitely not my strong suit! You on the other hand seem to have quite a knack for it. If I decide to proceed with the search, I'd like you to do it. What sort of compensation would you require for something like that? The last time I paid a patent attorney for one it cost me $750. Can you beat that price and if so, would you be interested?
