Not trying to shoot your idea down I am just curious if you have seen some of the other solutions out there such as http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCyPZZpDfQc This is a quick low tech method for killing the bed bugs that does not require electricity. Is yours plugged into a wall socket or battery operated?
You may want to look at who they are selling their ideas to and approach those same companies.
