Not sure if it will stop others, but your NDA is dated 2006, also not sure it will fly. Have your received legal councel on your online NDA that doesn't mention any recourse? If I do what happens? What state county has jurisdiction? How long do I have to keep it to myself. I'm not attorney, but I don't think it will hold much water, or offer much protection.

Umm, I think you online NDA needs a lot of work and probably will not be enforceable.

It may be too late, but you should get your stuff off the web or it may be deemed to be a publication.

The top is turned by anything, hand, motor.
the bottom is the power output, any torque placed on the output should cancel it self out.

allmee,

You are obviously a very talented computer modeler. I see you've also managed to overcome your fear of piracy, in favor of the benefits given in bouncing ideas off other people. But, knowing how much time it can take to set up even a simple animated demonstration indicates that you may have far, far too much of it on your hands.

I think you would do well to learn a little more about kinematics. It appears as though you've gone and taken rotational motion, converted it into translational motion, and then converted back into the original rotational motion, all at the expense of losses due to friction. Some people would find that almost irresponsible.

If you maintained your current abilities and enthusiam, while learning about some more engineering concepts, there could be nothing to stop you from doing whatever it is you wanted to accomplish.

Keep Punchin'

Scrupulous

How about connecting it to a wind turbine? Would it be able to generate electricity better than conventional systems? Maybe if you disconnected it from the lower crankshaft you could use the reciprocating connecting rods to pass through a magnetic field and generate electricity, couldn't you?
