I did go. Had a great time. Meet with the owner, Mike Collins. He said he liked my product, and will get back with me. He was very nice. Even if nothing comes of it (which of course is most likely), I'm glad I went, and it
was a good experience.
Talked to a couple other inventors. One lady that went to the wrong Courtyard- so was very late. I was setting up in the room after her, and I kept finding bits and pieces of her invention (don't know what it was). She remarked that she didn't give her total presentation- the time went really quickly. Didn't get a feeling that she got very far. Talked to another inventor, Tom. He auditioned for American Inventor in Tampa, and made it to the end. That is until AI found out his business partner had a restraining order- so were dropped instantly. He did get some feedback about how his invention was to techincal or something like that. He seemed bummed as he was leaving.
So they definatley were not just telling everyone they loved them, and their products. Wish I could have just hung around and talked to
more people.
