In the Inventing A to Z section, I was thinking we may want to add separate sections for things like

Protecting Your Ideas- Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks
Forming a Company
Prototyping and Making Samples
Working with Manufacturers
Finding a Licensing Partner

etc. to give people clear places to look.

We did not do that at the beginning as the group was too small.

Are we now at the point where we should have clear places to discuss various aspects of the invention process?

I think it may help and make the FAQS also more manageable.

Or is it making things more complicated and the forums too long?

I think that sounds good Michelle!

Had any video takers yet, not that I am really interested. I'm too camera shy.

Just one person that wrote to me. I need to follow up with him when I get a chance.

I would leave it alone for now, Michelle. Unless you're willing to relocate a bunch of topics, that would be a ton of forums.

Besides, you would be mixing apples and oranges. The items you suggested are good. But they're not grouped logically, at least not so that it would be a reason to change everything else.

You might want to add to or change the existing forum descriptions, like:

Financing Your Invention (Finding a Licensing Partner/Raising Capital)

I could be wrong, but I think the spirit of these forums is to getting the most out of ideas, while spending the least on unecessary things.
